Attorney Scott Kleiman Announced as Board Member for the American Cancer Society’s “Jail and Bail” Event
Davie, FL – Commercial and Real Estate Attorney, M. Scott Kleiman, of the Law Firm Kalis and Kleiman was announced as one of the Parole Board Members for the 2009 Broward County Chapter of the American Cancer Society’s “Jail and Bail” Fundraiser. The annual event will be held in June at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport Sheraton Hotel on Griffin Road in Dania Beach, FL.
The “Jail and Bail” event will emulate a jail/jailhouse. The fundraiser has community members "arrested" by local law enforcement officers and brought to the mock jail. While in custody, these "jailbirds" have unlimited use of a telephone to call friends, relatives, co-workers, business associates, etc…, to raise the bail in pledges to the American Cancer Society. The bail is determined by a "judge" at the “jail”. And, all donations are fully tax deductible contributions to the American Cancer Society.
